Hi, I’m Dana, a food photographer based in Aberdeen City with a passion for capturing the vibrant and dynamic culinary scene. My journey began in the restaurant industry, where I developed a deep appreciation for beautiful food and the stories it tells. Over time, this love for both photography and hospitality naturally grew into a career where I get to create striking food imagery.

My style is colourful and fun, and I love bringing out the best in every dish while adapting to my clients' needs. I've been lucky to work with incredible clients like Carnation, St. Dalfour, Smarties, and Absolute Taste, including shoots at the prestigious 150th and 152nd Golf Open Championships. I was also thrilled to be shortlisted for the Food & Drink Category at The British Photography Awards 2024.

One of my favourite projects was working with Graeme Tomlinson, The Fitness Chef, where I photographed two ebooks full of vibrant, nutritious recipes. It was a fantastic opportunity to combine my love of food and photography in a way that celebrates delicious and healthy living.

I get so much joy from the creativity of food and drink styling, and I love the excitement of seeing new menus and dishes for the first time. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me dining out, playing golf, or discovering new food spots.
